La Forge de Sainte Marie campsite offers a range of activities for families, couples, and the young.
Take advantage of our varied entertainment programme. Whether you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday or a more active one, we have it covered:

- Trout fishing
- TV to follow the football matches and the Tour de France
In the centre of the estate, a large grassy field awaits sportsmen and women for a game of football, basketball, volleyball or badminton. You can also take part in a table-tennis tournament. Invite your neighbour to a game of pétanque or go to Joinville to play tennis.
Trout fishing in our pond
The river ‘Le Rongeant’, flowing from a natural spring, meanders through the site and widens into a pond in the centre of the estate. It is the ideal place for trout fishing.
Have fun with the whole family or just sit by the river next to your pitch. A category 1 fishing permit is required.
You can buy this in the village of Poissons near the campsite (“Poissons” is French for fish and it’s the name of the village near the estate!).
Discovering nature
The diversity of birds present on the site of La Forge de Sainte Marie is impressive.
Up to 40 different species can be observed on the site or its immediate surroundings. From the cute tiny wren to larger species such as jackdaws and crows.
From the fieldfare babbling as you pass through its territory, to peregrine falcons and buzzards. Don’t miss the black kites circling majestically in the clear sky. The song of the chaffinch will fill your days with a natural melody.
